Speaking of, we should talk about your beach body. Now I'm not saying washboard abs, but it would be nice to see a little definition. Take care of yourself and you will reflect pride and confidence in your body, which in turn, attracts other proud, confident, usually good-looking people. Here, the goal is to appeal to a mass audience. You want most people to think you're sexy. A few push-ups a day will help tone and define your upper body. Throw in some sit-ups and you'll be looking good faster than you can say beachburger.
Packing a beach lunch of fresh fruit and vegetables, sandwiches, and water will help your diet. The protein in cheeseburgers is fine but they tend to be fatty, and most people couple fries and cokes with their burgers. So if you want to indulge make sure you don't do it more than twice weekly.
Also in your beach bag should be a beach towel. This is different from your ordinary shower towel as this (preferably) terry cloth is larger and can even match or complement your bathing suit. It's an accessory that you should think of as an investmentif you spend a few days on the beach every summer, you'll use that beach towel effectively for years. Pack a beach read, so you have options beside sleep and daydreaming while lying in the sand. And every hour or so, go in the water. Even if it's just to get your feet wet, it will wake you up and provide refreshment.
There are lots of recreational activities to partake in as well. Surfing is great exercise and a lot of fun. Boogey boarding is a little easier. Rent a bike and cruise up and down the boardwalk. Or go for a run in the sand; you'll burn about twice as many calories as you would normally. But be careful when swimmingtake off your sunglasses, you don't want to lose under a stray wave.
