It's the summer term, 9:05am outside the school gates
There's often a typical look amongst these Mums which consists of designer clothing, expensive jewellery and styled hair which plays host to a pair of the latest Prada designer sunglasses which perch amongst the curls.
9.20am rolls around and one Mum will make a comment about how she ought to be going it's almost time for baby Theodore's nap and gradually the designer sunglasses will be lowered and the crowd will disperse to continue their busy day of manicures and gym sessions before returning again in the afternoon to collect their young ones.
Oh how nice it would be to be able to look this attractive and care-free despite the fact that baby Theodore was up ever hour from 2am and eventually up for the day at six. How they do it I will never know, but one thing I do know is that they are not alone. Amongst the celebrity world there are many fine examples of Mums just like them.
Among this group of elite women who remain beautiful and defy the curses of bags under the eyes and lack of time to coordinate an outfit which motherhood bestows upon the rest of us, we can count Gweneth Paltrow, Gwen Stefani and Kate Moss who have all been seen at the school gates hiding behind a pair of Prada designer sunglasses.
This glamorous look isn't something you can achieve overnight and for most of us probably not until the kids have gone off to Uni' but if nothing else, simply putting on a pair of designer sunglasses can get you one step closer as at least they disguise the drooping bags under your eyes.
